Made these a few days ago for a house warming,the oak is 400 year old,from the barn which is now the new house,got given 4 1 foot lengths of it,about 10 inch square, pretty solid stuff and plenty of it :)

The kit is a JR Gent FP,finished with friction polish and then ren wax,the knife is oak and finished with teak oil...

And a bonus image (notice the piece of oak they're resting on,what shall I do with it? )
