Pen No 3 for this year, I made it for some one’s birthday.
It didn’t come out as bright as pink as I would like it to, I painted inside the blank white, I wonder if it would have better to paint it black?

That's a cracking little pen Mark. Pink nail varnish is what I'd use (yes, I have an embarrassingly large collection of nail varnish, but don't let on)

Cute little thing.

If you have some of that blank left, polish the end and slice off a thin piece. Take it and put it on every colour you can find and you can see how each will influence the colour of the blank. Spray paint can lids, sheets of coloured paper, packaging, paint swatch cards from a paint store and anything else you come across will all work nicely. Better is to do it before making the pen, especially if you have a number of the blanks but even though you are done it is a nice learning tool.

A wee little cracker that.... Looks like a lip stick when closed... I think I would have used a pink paint to paint the tube hole maybe a dark pink?? But still a very nice job:drool::drool:
