Brad is away on holiday annoying the locals in Italy, and so has asked me to make a choice for this this week's Pen of the Week in his place.

My choice is the "New Custom Pen and New McKenzie Blank" by Gregory Hardy

I love the form that Greg has given his kitless pen, and I have seen samples of these blanks too, so I know that in the hand the pen will be super sparkly. The translucency in the cap and body, which is a measure of Greg's ability to create a thin walled, and therefore lightweight pen, is a fashionably desirable feature in the wider fountain pen market at the moment, and the clip, which he's mastered the art of making completely from first principles completes the deco-esqu look.

Wow - thanks! I appreciate the kind words, all. I just got another blank like this in the morning post from Mr. McKenzie (with other colors too) to see if I can actually repeat that pen. Thanks again for the notice and the kind words.
