This week's Pen of the Week was chosen by Penpal and goes to the "PSI Tudor Twist Pen" by [MENTION=1739]Skin-Job[/MENTION]

Would not be my choice of pen kit but he has turned a lovely piece of wood with skill to make it a worthy winner, and the finish is superb

Really very handsome, Karl. I've looked at that kit on a number of occasions and thought, "What, on earth, do you do with that one?" You showed us. Congratulations!

I agree with the earlier sentiments. Very nicely done and a great finish. It really begs to be picked up.

Hmmm. Normally I'd agree - and I tend to avoid ALL the themed and moulded kits that PSI put out, because I regard them as not much more than gimmicks. Having said that though, just occasionally, someone comes along who has the vision to apply just the right curves in just the right places, in order to not only showcase their own work, but the kit components too - and to my eye, that is exactly what you have done. All of a sudden it's a desirable pen, the components are in context, no longer just a gimmick, and if that kit were from my stable I'd be asking permission to use your photo on my website. Well done Karl - I think it's a lovely looking pen.

Praise where is well and truly deserved Karl.

Well done., the kit doesn't need talking about in my opinion as its the work that has gone in to it to make it different and something special.

Well done.

Keep up the good work and hopeful this will inspire some of the other new members to start posting their pens.
