Pen of the Week (POTW9) - the winner!

Congratulations to [MENTION=284]johnny5[/MENTION] for his winning pen http://www.penturners.co.uk/wood-turned-items/22801-mistral-pen-set.html in this week's Pen of the Week, and my apologies for being late today in posting this.

John's winning pens will feature on the Forum's front page until the next winner is decided, and all pens posted on the forum since last Sunday morning will be eligible for POTW10.

I'm sure many people will relish the chance of a bit of free time to get in the workshop over the Christmas period, whilst others will be glad of a break from making pens. Whatever your own viewpoint is, I think we will leave John's winner standing until after Christmas, and re-start Pen of the Week when life returns to normal after the festivities. In the meantime, if your making, don't forget to keep posting for POTW10.

Thanks everyone, i enjoyed turning these pens, the Mistral is a high quality pen and the Hybrid Alumilite and Burr blanks were a joy to turn.

have a good festive period and i for one will be turning xmas morn, SWSBO is working mornings and i can get in the workshop in between cooking the veg .
