Can anyone point me in the right direction of a nice quality pencil kit please? I have used Beaufort Mistral kits but would like to try other quality makes. Thanks in advance.

I'm just about to post a pen and pencil set I've made for the wife's birthday today.

The pencil is an Athena 88 from TaylorsMirfield - just get the spare pencil mechanism and use instead of ballpoint refill. You need to modify the refill and remove the 'lip' at the end.

I tend to find that the Mistral kits to be the best there is, quality through out the kit. Have not found one other as good. Metal mechanism where others use plastic.
