Was going to cut this piece up to give away for Marquetry. Gave it a hurry up on the Big Boy metre Sander for a minute. The log it came from was about four hundred yrs old. White ants had eaten out a pipe all through.

During the week I picked up four more logs of this beautiful rare timber, more to -pick up next week.

THe project has been in my mind for years and will have pride of place in my home.
