I ordered these last week and because the tubes are the same as the Solano/Headwind I had one ready for when I got delivery this morning.
I, as you saw, even turned a bit of Kirinite for the ends. I like the effect but hate the turning of them.

One of the most elegant enhancements I've seen - very classy, wouldn't be the same without the silver rings.
Thanks Duncan. I was keeping some silver for a special pen. It's a pity that my photography doesnt show it off well.
I am soon to get a smart phone which ( hopefully ) will take better snaps.
