Yet another Phoenix pen, in gunmetal. The blank is a Woodshed called Sea Sponge. I didn't know if I'd like the light colored blank with the dark gunmetal kit, but I think it looks classy. Another great Woodshed blank!

I almost lost this one. The chisel dug in during final shaping. I really need to learn to lighten up. But with some careful chisel work, and lots of wet sanding, I was able to save it.

As a platform to show off a blank the kit does the job so well Jim. I have a black car that requires so much more attention than our white car, how does this relate to a black shiny pen. Have you experienced longevity with this kit?

Like the blank and your detailed pics must be a bear to do this while turning.

With the kit there is room to extend the blank section quite a lot and go over the design of the long neck effect. Manufacturers all round seem to favour this present trend so the two piece pens alway look their best capped.

Peter.
