Following up on a question asked in another thread I thought I would show how I do do it, just to show how easy my set up is.
I don't no expert in fact far from it but I do like to see a good picture and try to take one too.
Like everyone else I don't want the hassle of setting up a light tent everytime I wanna show a pic so I use a few sheets of white paper as a box like this.

I then set my camera to macro with flash I have an auto setting that does that for me so literally just set my camera to auto.
Warm the camera by shooting one of the inside of the tent which lets the camera auto white balance and give me a pic of what I am gonna see, if its too blue or grey I shoot closer or further away till I get white.

Then I place the pen inside take half a dozen shots at varying angles and upload em to my confuser and chose the shot I am going to use.

Then crop it and resize it ready to post on my favourite forums init?

As for the pen itself, I had so much nagging about making a plastic one and with my new forced promotion being pink I thought time I did init.
The blank I bought darn sarf did end up in the bin but I saved the tubes which were still in their white paint and I found a dodgy looking blank in Georges bits he left behind.
I say dodgy cos it is full of air which is one of the gripes I have whith plastic blanks.
Anyway it was in a bag with Stephanie's name on it so I had to make it up and will send it to her from George.
