Photo experiment

I have been trying different set ups for pen photography so thought I would post some pics of the setup I have been using for some time now it basically consists of a couple off desk lights with daylight bulbs in them and a daylight bulb in a holder above the setup please ignore the large scotch photography is hard thirsty work.
The pen is resting on a glass picture frame with white paper in it this is something I have been trying and so far the results are looking good, I will post some results in a reply to this posting

Here's a couple of pics. of the result using the glass picture frame it seems to give a clearer image your comments would be appreciated
I'm exhausted off to the garden for another scotch and a blowhard

Smashing idea Ian and it seems to work well. I hope it is a Malt whisky as I'm not keen on blended stuff!!!!! LOL

Very interesting Ian, a reflection instead of a shadow have you tried a mirror?
I like this idea a lot mate well done init?

Brian I think a mirror would give to many images and as I find photographing my work a pain I like to keep things simple same as you do init

I seem to remember trying this some time ago when Merv was experimenting with his new camera.

Extremely effective set up dotslad...... pictures are as near to perfect as don't matter.

Simple, repeatable can be left set up what more could anyone want and it works. Great experiment.
