Having met up with Jim a couple of times recently and he looking at my pens he passed the comment that my pens were better than my photos suggested. Anyway it was decided that I take my camera to Woody's open day and Jim would look at my camera settings which he kindly did. One pen that Jim passed comment on was the Goldfield burr with the brass powder infill certainly looked better in real life as it could be seen there was a lot more infill than the photo suggested.
After Jim altered my settings this is a retake of the said pen.

Terry I am sorry to disagree with everyone but that's what I do best init?
Although I gave your pen back with barely a glance saying it is rubbish, I secretly admired it very much and I still don't think these pics do it justice.
The pen itself let me tell you is something to be especially pleased with, it is superbly finished and so nicely shaped with a stunning piece of wood and the brass dust gives a royal glow.
Better stop now before your head swells beyond proportion, I had a play with the pic to see if a bit of editing could make a difference, simply cropped it a tad more and enlarged to 600 X800 maximum allowed forum size, hope you don't mind jst trying to show what a rubbish pen it is, NOT.

Q: Why do Farts stink? A: So that Deaf people can enjoy them too.

I agree. Having seen this in my hand no photo can truly give the effect, no chance of nicking it though.

That said these pics are better than the first ones, so the original idea of changed settings does seem to have helped.
