I got an email from PB saying " Don't Risk Losing Your Memories
You're getting dangerously close to hitting your storage limit!
We know you've got a lot of photos. Keep them safe on Photobucket.com."

:rant::rant:

My PB storage is 1% full

What photo storage site do you use?

Picasa has disapaered.

Has any one heard of Postimage.org — free image hosting / image upload

What is wrong with using your own computer? If its full buy an external drive they are cheap. I'll bet that your computer is full of dross and I reckon you could probably recover 2 GB which will be usable for your photo storage. send me a pm and I'll show you how even with the missus there. :face:

Like Peirre I store all my files and photo's on an external 2TB drive this has two advantages one it is there as a backup if the computer crashes and two I can unplug it and use it on my laptop therefore taking all my photo's where ever I want.
I know there are some sites that still ask for photo's from somewhere like photobucket.

I use an external 2TB drive as well.

But going along with my "grandfather, father and son" back up that I was always taught.

I have them on my main PC (son) google photos ( father) and external drive (grandfather) the external drive has everything backed up on it once a month and google photos does it every 12 hours does it automatically from my PC.

Download my pics to my PC so the first two are done automatically. Just leaves me to do one job of back up to external on a monthly basis.

The I phone does it to cloud somewhere, but never happy with that so I copy all my I phone pics to PC as well.

At the end of the year I download the years pics to DVD. Saved until they naturally disappear..:funny:

The final one is I never trust technology :face:

I looked at Google Photos, and found photos that I had taken earlier this morning already on there.:scratch_head:
Also it has every photo that I ever took on four mobile phone, the first two were never connected to the internet.
The first phone I bought, I got from someone else, this Google Photos has even resurrected all the really sick porn he had on it :noman:
How do I permanently get rid of this?

How do you upload from Google Photos, so you have your photo on the post?

Resurrect and post same as Picassa in fact when a year or so ago this threat of Picassa being extinct, the download without request of Windows 10 all my pics went to both Google Photos and I made sure Picassa.

All my pics go into Picassa still to this day. Suits me but our daughter visiting uses a 2 gig separate hard disk she has agreed to show me how but I will hang onto Picassa as long as I can, it is for me seamless and easy to use.

Peter.
