photo's of pens

i haven't posted too many pics of my finished pens due to my photo's not being of a decent quality i have a Nikon D90 slr so no probs with the camera.

what setup do you use lighting, backgrounds etc i am considering buying one of those small light tents from flea bay is this the way to go

Hi Alan

I too would like to take better photos.
Ive looked around and I think a cardboard box, say 18" cube with cutouts in left and right covered in tracing/geaseproof paper to diffuse the light is a good start. Put a couple of spot/table lamps near the cutouts.

The fountain pen network have a whole section for this. I had a quick look and found:

Hey. Whilst the photography here is great. It hasn't been before and don't let that stop you if you are after critique. The chaps here love a good photo as the are pen perverts. But any fix will do. So do share.
