Pinch Pots

Decided to make a couple of Salt and Pepper pinch pots but with lids.

The main body has two turned recesses out of Sapele, the lids are American Black Walnut the black knob is African Blackwood and the white is Acrylic as I did not have any real white wood to hand. The base is finished with Mineral oil and the outside then waxed and buffed once dry. the lids got a coat of sander sealer then waxed before the knobs are fitted.

Not familiar with pinch pots here so they appeal to me as a beaut present for the cooks in the family.Neat idea methinks Derek..
