Thanks, yes I made the blanks, they are quite involved, unlike the big ones in the Youtube Vid that Brian posted. They have to be soaked in water to close them up, then squared off on the bandsaw, then copious amounts of CA to keep it closed drilled with an undersized hole to aid in drying. When dry copious amounts of CA into the hole to hopefully glue it all together from the inside. When turning you will see how well the CA penetrated or not and keep adding more where needed to keep it all closed. I have a pair of blanks that I have used luminous powder as an infill in the empty seed pockets, looking forward to finishing them.
