Apologies to you I didn't realize you had done them yourself, that makes them all the more remarkable.

I have tried and failed with dried pine cones from the golf course ended up leaving them open and casting them in clear acrylic.

More bother than it was worth, I respect your persistence with them certainly worth the effort in your case.
