Walnut with pink ivory accents. I'm not usually a lover of pink, but I am stunned by how gorgeous pink ivory looks once finished. (Thanks Jim!)

A small mystery for you to ponder: I glued up the blank with .125mm brass sandwiched by the walnut and the pink ivory. When I had finished the pen I noticed that one of the joints on the cap no longer had any brass in it. What the heck happened to it????
