Loved the cartoon as a kid and always wanted that car the kid arrived in during the opening credits.

I don’t normally do demonstrators and, although this isn’t a pure example of one, it’s transparent enough to require internal sanding. Oh how I hate sanding the inside of pens. Anyway for this I take it to 800 grit and then move to zona papers and go through the colours. It’s enough to get rid of the tool marks and any scratches.

It came out well enough.

All the metal is sterling apart from the Beaufort Ink chrome finished steel pocket clip. Nib is Jowo fed by c/c.

Cap threads are 13mm triple lead and the cap closes in 1.5 rotations.

Barrel is around 15mm diameter and the entire pen is 144mm closed.
