Made this for some of my pipes. Black stinkwood (ocotea bullata).
It is actually a lot darker than the pictures. Flash must have done that. The side view is a lot closer to the real colour.
Black stinkwood is protected and difficult to get. This wood came from a
recycled dresser. Still got a good bit left. Have to watch out for the old cut nails bits hidden in some of the pieces.
