Okay, before I get shot down in flames for starting a thread that may have already been done I did do a search on the subject and didn't find what I am looking for so I thought bugger it I'll see what happens when I start this discussion. Sorry Brian if it has been done to death already.

:pray::shitfan:

My question is this: I have the planet mandrel saver (I did start a thread about this a while back in regard to using it with my mandrel but this is another issue) and a mandrel from Penkitsuk.  I find the mandrel shaft is a very tight fit in the hole in the end of the saver which I would expect however. it's so tight it won't withdraw when I want to take the mandrel apart to get a finished pen off so I have to use a piece of rubber to turn the saver against the shaft to release it.  I would like to know if this is how it should be or whether I'm using a saver that should be used with the planet mandrel?:nooidea:
