I found some blanks on the floor behind the bandsaw that have been there for a year or so.

Be buggered if I could find anything like that behind my band saw..:rolling:

They are different, but nice (ish) if you know what I mean..

Not sure about the blanks but I like the finish and shape Peter..

Strange place to keep the
They've come out nicely

I know there are still some other blanks down there, I have knocked several blanks off the bandsaw table over the years and couldn't be bothered to move everything to get them, but today I knocked my callipers off that I needed so I moved a bit until I could get at them and picked up a few blanks. I know there is at least one of my black and white blanks still waiting to be recovered.

I've not been a fan so far of the red, white & blue blanks but I like that one, maybe the straighter lines of the colours. Great shape to the pen too!

Don't drop them on the floor, you can see the cracks in mine that show up as black once the CA has gone in:sadmo:

Thanks for the comments, I have a few of these blanks, but I don't think I will be making any more up as there were too many cracks, I may smash them up and recast the pieces.

Nice save. You need one of these. I have 2 different lengths in my shop. I am getting old enough where the floor is too far away to just bend over.

I do have one, but it is far to small for anything behind the bandsaw, I must look to see if I can adapt it. I did adapt one when I lived in Japan for picking up snakes, which were everywhere.
