Pierre, my neighbour does a bit of silversmithing and got me a foot (300mm ) of 2mm square wire from Cooksons. I believe it cost £10.00. I made it into some 'washers ' to fit 7mm and 9mm tubes. they were shaped around the end of a drill, and glued onto the tube with CA glue.OK, thats nice; I tried that a few years ago with some silver tape that I bought from Cookson gold ( Cooksongold - Jewellery Making Supplies | UK Supplier ) but it didn't come out so well, so is that tape on the end if so how did you get it to stick, if not what did you use, or is it solid silver all the way through? ( expensive!!).

I believe that I was able to get 8 or 10 rings from the length of wire.
