I cut the remaining piece of plywood I had into 18mm strips, turned them 90degrees & then glued them back together

I cut one blank at an angle & one straight blank, this is the straight blank finished with U Beaut cut & wax then Hutt wax stick.

It doesn't show in the photo but the lighter coloured rings give off a luminous glow in the hand, I'm really pleased with how this has turned out.

Yep, well turned and finished Doug, certainly different my friend .. I think i prefer this one to the elongated one .. :thumbs:

Yep they do make different pen that way round, Paul M showed one a while ago which was also very nice.
They are different again cut at 45 and 60 degrees.
