Couldn't be bothered working on this gloomy, rainy day.
Peter (Buckeye) had sent me some more kits to try, and turning them was made a lot easier by the gift of a set of imperial drill bits from Walter!
My thanks go to both Gentlemen concerned!

I've still got some to have a go at, but these were from this afternoon.

Bolt action kits in Walnut and Brazilian Tulipwood.

Sierra in Burr sycamore.

And finally!
Empress in Sycamore.

Not sure which Empress they had in mind when they named this kit, but she must have been a big lass with fat fingers, and impeccably bad taste!:funny:

That is the nicest description of an Empress pen that I have read so far anywhere and very true it is to.

It was Fatima in her pantaloons, just because you and everyone else turn the wrong shape doesn't mean it's a bad kit, it's one of the best value kits around, if you had turned it like Neil had turned the omega you would see the elegance in the kit that isn't there in the omega:ave_it:

That Sycamore is very nice.

I like the Empress as well mate, even if she is a little on the plump side, all the more to hang on to. :whistling:

Oops, I said that out loud didn't I :goesred:
