I have returned several JR Gents to TB and stopped buying slimline pencils because Ive had the brass collar at the nib end collapse several times while assembling and often find that the part the user clicks is not always round sometimes its triangular or square then the kit wont go together.

Still using slimlines, never had an issue with them except the mechanism sometimes is tight or loose to turn so whenever I make a set of them,I pick 2 that are tight or 2 that are loose so my customers dont get pens that are inconsistent, never the less,Ill still carry on buying them.
