Just a question to those of you who have made some how well does polymer clay stand up to everyday use I am under the impression when it is baked its as hard as plastic.

Just a question to those of you who have made some how well does polymer clay stand up to everyday use I am under the impression when it is baked its as hard as plastic.

It is a plastic and when baked properly is no more of a problem than other plastics used for pen blanks.

Ebay, if you want the raw stuff to make your own canes or also ebay and etsy if you want ready made canes.

I still prefer timber but I dip my hat to the top makers of these blanks on the IAP.

I see your local hobbycraft store stocks it don't know how it compares price wise but if you just want a small quantity to experiment with it does not seem too dear
