Poorly turned on purpose!

These 3 pieces form one finished piece and are placed as they will be connected as per the commission. I sort of like the idea, even though the brief was to provide what I would consider sub standard work!
Any guesses to what this is?

My guess like Kevin’s would be for spinning. One piece to hold fleece, one a spindle and the third to hold the spun yarn? Either that or a piece of ‘art’.

These are for the same customer, and he wanted the tear out!



These were commissioned by a slightly off the wall young fashion designer.
The 3 spindles are to be threaded with fabric and worn at a catwalk show as a necklace, same with the 2 discs! Just got to make the 400mm diameter hoop now
