Hi Matt

Pretty sure it's Elm burr - I use a bit to raise my monitor. - I can hear the arrows being launched for such sacrilege :rolling:

One day when I no longer have to join the great unwashed who still have to do the daily toil I'll get around to using it all :kiss:

Thanks it was covered in wax when someone gave it to me they had it ten years and never turned it and has packed up. I was happy how it turned out in the end was might hard wood though:thumbs:

Again another nicely shaped bowl. Yes this does look like Elm but better men than I will tell you for sure
