Made this today, again for an Xmas gift, spalted beech pot pourii bowl. Given a couple of coats of finishing oil. This gave me the chance to really put the Turnmaster to good use and I'm well impressed with it. The hollowing I did using the mushroom cutter on the turnmaster.

Two such beauties in the same day:thumbs:I never thought about turning Xmas presents, I should have done it in the summer, it's far too cold now to go into the garage, even with my thermals on.

To be honest I bought the lid back in March but it's taken until I bought a tool to do hollowing for me to be able to make this. I was inspired by a vid on YouTube showing the Turnmaster. You should bite the bullet and give them a go.
