Just a word of advice.


Skip dipping, aka removing items from a skip for your own purpose is theft, unless you have sought permission from the owner of the skip contents. All items in a skip, bin or similar belong to the owner i.e homeowner or business, until such time as the skip or bin is collected, then it belongs to the collection company.


If you are caught having not got permission, expect to spend some time in your local constabularies jail, and possibly be charged with theft.

"A person is guilty of theft if he/she dishonestly appropriates property belonging to another with the intention of permanently depriving the other of it"


We all know it goes on all the time, but you can guarantee the one time you see something worth having, there will be a copper right behind you. In other words as with most things in life, cover your arse.:mooney2:
