Made up a Presimo rollerball and fountain pen set today using Oak
It is a mixed chrome finish using shiny Chrome and Satin chrome
I attempted to use ca finish again on the pen ( i am Learning slowly)
I know its not perfect and there is a small gap between the wood and base but i will re press the pen later, did not want to craze the ca finish.
What are your thoughts on the kit

Agree with Eamonn regarding the finish Johnny, on your next attempt try dipping the ends of the blanks into some wax paste before placing them on the mandrel, this will help release the blanks without them sticking to the bushes .. Regarding the kits, they look better when not posted on the ends, as they looked better balanced without the caps .. Nicely turned though ..

Highly presentable pens Johnny you are like my dentist fantastic on the job great to share with but continually drawing controversy with your choice of pen kits and guess what selling them, keep up your formula mate never lose the urge to give it a rumble, I confess to never posting a pen.
