A few weeks ago PaulM sent me a bit of stabilised privet root so today I turned it to go in my wood collection thank you Paul I love it mate finished in my usual way with frictiop polish and woodturners stick

That's beautiful Woody ! I was only cursing my privet hedge this morning, and now it turns out its not such a bad old thing after all. I doubt ,however , that it will obligingly die of natural causes !
