I have been using a 6" bench grinder and a whetstone wheel for the last year or three at home. At the club they have three Proedge. I like them but the price has put me off till now. On long grinds the concave grind from a wheel is counter productive, which at the club is not an issue. So reading previous threads, the comments are generally very positive, would the proedge users agree?

Wish I'd have thought of this before Harrogate, but hey ho. Quick search on tinterweb sees G&S beating Oliver woodturning on package price. So unless there's a January sale on, it might well be on the shopping list. Where did you find the best price?
