Hi again, Guys,

Another chrome Sedona roller but a bit of a let-down. I used a stick of promising-looking prunus (comes from various fruit trees) but it ended up a bit plain. Most of the surface grain had petered out by the time it was turned to size. Oh well, someone's bound to like it, right?

Bob.

Bob that tree grew in good conditions the growth rings way apart. The kit suits the pen and I well know the feeling of watching features disappear as the blank turns down but in this case it is a mellow colour.

Don't knock your self up Bob, that has come out really nice, but I know what you mean when you start out and have a great looking piece of wood and it doesn't come out as it looked in the first place.. :sob:

Something you have no control over, and as you say, someone will like it, you will be surprised.

I like it Bob, not all woods can be burrs and you've made that into a fine looking pen.
