If anyone is interested smittypenworks has the PSI Celtic Kits for sale at $11.05 instead of the normal PSI rate of $14.95.

$40.00 shipping for 5 kits ...... not for me :sob:

That's strange, you can have unto 4lbs in weight, which is a lot more than 5 kits.

Hi guys,

Apologies for resurrecting this thread, but having drawn a blank from the font of all knowledge Doug B yesterday, I was wondering if these kits are any good? I've made plenty of roller ball pens, but never a fountain pen, and a bloke at work has expressed an interest in one of these Celtic kits. Are spare cartridges easy to get hold of?

Thanks,

Malc

What is Smitties freight like Peter in comparison to others? Our daughter is coming over for part of the US summer and I have some saved US dollars so I* can get stuff sent to her for safehanding to me.

You would be better off asking Johnny5 he has shown quite a few of these kits, I would imagine the cartridges are standard, but I am sure Johnny5 could tell you.

I can't say I have bought loads of stuff in one go from Leroy aka Smitty, but he has always bent over backwards to find the cheapest way of sending me stuff. If you are going to buy from him I suggest you email him and ask if he has any club memberships available, as he discounts pens fairly heavily to club members. I think he closes membership when there are a certain number of members, but I could be wrong so best check with him. Sometimes it is free postage in the States and whatever it costs him he will apply that same discount to international postage. A great guy to deal with:thumbs: nothing seems too much trouble for him.
