A couple of Empress Roller-ball and Fountain pen Set . made from Purple Heart and finished as usual with Friction polish and renaissance wax.

i am unlucky with pens
I had a sedona with "grindy" thread
I have had the crystal drop out of emporer clip

i guess it happens
I thought about an extra dab of CA on the crystal before finishing
but was worried it may show thru

You've made a lovely job of them Johnny but now that I've seen them I'm not sure I would make them from Purple Heart especially as its such a touchy wood with its colour.
