Hi all I generally use Beaufort kits as i love the quality. Used a few cheap Taiwan kits in the past and quite honestly i gave them away asking people not to associate them with my name!! So the question to you all is, can you direct me to any quality pen kits that you use or may have used in the past? I have used all of Beaufort kits so would like to try something different but keeping the quality. Thanks

The world is you lobster!!!
I buy from all over, but do agree with Beaufort being quality...
I use a lot of Taylors Mirfield Omega kits... Overall good value for money, I avoid some of the others...
Most things from PSI.. Penn state industries in the US... Not cheap but good plateings... (Axminster import some, but pricey)
Laserlinez again US not always available but there stainless pens are really nice...
IMHO... Check out Beartooth woods, Arizona silhouette and PSI...

Quality comes from Taiwan, cheap from China!
Beaufort are made in Taiwan as are Taylors Mirfield. Both in the same factory as I'm aware but to each companies requirements. The better slimlines sold by Turners retreat are also from Taiwan.

Totally agree with what Neil has said here.

I’m not sure where your pen kits you used had come from that you classed as inferior! Would be nice to know so at least we can be aware of that supplier, and of course quality is seen differently by different eyes.

There are loads and loads of Chinese suppliers but few Taiwanese suppliers. If you really like quality then take a look at Dayacom website.

Renowned for quality, they had a little blip a few years ago but decided to stick to their guns rather than compete in the race to the bottom on price. Where quality would suffer.
