I will give it a go. I am thinking that corian might be the better material to use as it should be stronger than wood at the point where there is no tube and the band will be quite thin. We'll see and I'll post the results . Thanks for all your thoughts so far.

I could always just try the euro pen if it proves too difficult :rolleyes:
