RAF Benevolent fund.

Hi All,
Here is a project I did last week.

On the 1st April The RAF will be 100 years old and I started to have a search and came across the benevolent fund.
I think they have a great logo so I tried to replicate it with Polymer clay.

As you will see I didn't do a great job. LOL I will do more in the future and will donate them to the local branch, if they will have them. :-))

Getting round and about brings its challenges Paul. Model one over to set the standard to come. Noble project mate. A mate of mine was a Lancaster rear gunner during WW2 and was seconded to the RAF during this time.Extraordinary bravery and skill is well worth remembering and your support.

I have just mixed up some resin in the Help for Heroes colours. I think it was Greg Hardy that showed a pen with ribbon colours.
That is a great idea and I will do something similar with these colours.

I wish I had known about polymer clay when I undertook my project. You may recall that I foolishly spent hours stacking colored index stock (paper) with brushed resin. I nearly did myself in - small room, lots of fumes, and little common sense that day. That project raised a lot of money for a very worthy cause (like the one you are supporting) and the satisfaction for having done so was really a source of joy. I look forward to seeing where you go with this project!

It was an amazing project you did.

Polymer clay would be great to use but for this first attempt I have just coloured some Alumilite resin. (no fumes)
