I have been given ruby kyanite stick

can I make a pen ?

it looks hard Steve but worth a go drilling might be the hardest bit

i thought i would put a towel or tray on lathe bed
drill 1mm increments at a time whilst spray water and just pray it will drill cleanly

I would try getting some metal working cutting fluid
