Yup, dodgy light!!

I have succumbed to finishing my pens with bloody glue, whilst friction polish with sealer and applied to its best advantage is fine on things such as mobile stylus, it isn't durable enough for the sales table.

And they sure do all look nice mate.
I like the kit but I don't like the comebacks I've had with them.
I hope these are better, time will tell init?

Neil, NASA would be proud to have an array as special as yours they are quite outstanding in the search for the Holy Grail in pens.

Beaut timbers and delightful finishing IMHO when I consider just how many pens have graced your lathe I admire the way you make them so special each time not settling for mediocre timber either.

Appreciate the display.

Kind regards Peter.:thumbs::luck::claps::claps::yo da man:

Nice lot of pens there all with a lovely finish :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I to like the kits but I have had one or two issues with kit quality but I know where they came from and will avoid that source, the batch I got from Dan are fine, so that is who I will now get my Jr Gents from in the future. Keep up the good quality aspect Dan :thinks::thinks::thinks:

I don't like CA as a finish any more than you do Neil. But it is without doubt more durable than anything else.

That is a fine display of Junior Gents. Nothing wrong with the kits IMHO so long as they are genuine JG's and not what would be called, in other sphere of commerce, "fakes".

I just knew that you would see sense and convert to the only true finish in the end :funny:

Woody is next :funny:

How do you tell a genuine one from a fake?
