Hi All,
Has anyone got one of these machines ?
I would like to know what the bearing sizes are for this machine. There are 6 off guide bearings, 3 in the top guide and 3 in the bottom. The manual lists them as part no. 49, 80026 bearings. These I think are SKF 626-2Z.
The other bearings are the wheel bearings and they are part no. 5 and there are 2 in each wheel so 4 off in total. These are listed as 80100 which are probably SKF 6000 series but I won't know unless I strip them.
If anyone has one of these machines and has replaced these bearings could they let me know what the SKF numbers are so I can stock with spares and save me having to take the machine apart.
Thanks for reading. :thinks:

Don You are right the old 800 series bearings have been renamed as 6000zz and zzz.
Record will be very tight lipped as they want you to buy from them.

I recently had a similar issue and bought my 6200zz's for less than £2.00 each.
Manufacturers agent wanted £36.00 each for their 800 equivalent which in effect was the same bearing.
I wouldn't mind but the ones I was changing were purchased from them less than two years ago, when they arrived they were the same Chinese bearings I have just bought.
For all the big talk about getting what you pay for, sometimes it's rubbish init?

Don I changed the 6 guide bearings and brought a pack of 10 bearings off eBay for a few quid. The cheap new ones turned out to be identical to the ones I removed. These were 626 2z

Thanks guys,
It is as I suspected.
@Grump, @Vic, this is exactly what I have found in the past with my Delta saw. £36 for 2 626-ZZ series bearings from Bearing Services, £3.23 on flea bay with free delivery.
@penpal, the dealers have no wish to give you numbers. I had a break down on my Delta saw and measured the bearings physically to get the replacements. It had to be stripped anyway. This present problem is a just in case, I wanted to find the numbers and order them from ebay, I would then have spares in case of breakdown.
Thanks for your help chaps

I understood this been there with several machines requiring bearings I too have a friendly source in town they look after me. Getting to the bearings is worthwhile taking one in invaluable.

Peter.
