Turned this today it's in ash and black acrylic the ash was going to be stained purple but it went a bit wrong so I removed most of it and just highlighted the grain got to be one for the bin i'm afraid

I'm intrigued with these "long" slimlines.

Maybe I'm just being really thick (not unusual) but how is it done ?

Could some kind soul explain in words a thickie can understand ?
