One task I put off, dreading the stripping to achieve this result I gave it a go cutting off half of the old disk, the pulling off from the Velcro the other half.
A light brushing then no way was the gap sufficent to let the new disk through.
So I went to a roll of Jack Paper I had bought in 1973 and been using it ever since(used to mount big pics). The roll is One Yard wide. Just double sided tape really with release paper.
I cut a rough circle but tight on the sides cause the machine has hardly any gap at the sides. Slipped the Jack Paper in front of the velcro side aligned the disk slipped the release paper and magic replacement in two minutes.
Job done huge sigh of relief. In the past I have used Cow Gum to hold the disk (pain in the bum to change). Changed all my larger disks over to velcro.
My tip for today works for me. One blank faced r/h not faced yet.
Peter.
