I was given quite a few bits of green wood
I made a start on this but it gave me a wash so put indoors for a few days

shall i put it down to a learning curve or try and save it?

I think you will have to that one down to experience never bring wet wood indoors by the looks of it it will split a whole lot more yet I would say firewood

Why not do both Steve turn it into what you planed origanaly if it dont look right burn it its only wood as they say

Pics weren't there when I posted before.

Put the wet stuff in a plastic bag, with the top closed, give it a week or so then take it out, turn the bag inside out and put the wood back in.
repeat until there is little water left in the bag. Repeat again but without sealing the bag. This releases the free water in a more controlled environment, preventing splitting.

Never, ever, put green wood in the house unless you need kindling.

burn that one and make another but boil it and then let it dry.
