Hi all

New to this so dumb questions, There appears to me to be a number of resins so not sure what I can use for pen blanks.

Epoxy Resin 2-1

Polyester Clear cast

Polyester Statue Cast

Which do people use ?

Polyester casting resin
Polyester clear casting resin.
Polyurethane casting resin.
Epoxy clear.

Suppliers I use are east coast fibreglass, mbfg and easy composites.

Looking at casting straight multicolour pen blanks and also multicolour with items in them (pine cones etc.)

These are pines cones I cast a while back in PR using mica powders for colour

Poly .issue smell,

Epoxy Resin Slow set glue Resin Hardener, No Smell, Expensive.

Aluminite Poly Resin, softer less chipout, Expensive plus pressure pot.
