These have the metal retainer that you have to carefully bend around and insert without creasing. Not always an easy thing to do!

The felt pads also take a little bit of getting used to fitting aswell to make a neat job of it, not really sure if there much good or are just a cheap alternative to the metal retainer

I like these Neil. I like turning cut blanks as it gives a nice grain pattern on some plainer timbers.
