I made this Robinia vase today and it has a few small burrs on it and it has had just one coat of teak oil so far it is 8 1/2" tall x 7" wide at the widest point

Lovely piece woody but I'm at a loss to visualise how you've done this. Would you mind describing the process I need to do to get a natural edge bowl out of the other piece of robinia?

Just avoid the top end bit totally I will include a few photos of another one I made this one is 14" tall

Doing another one tomorrow Stewart just a little bit smaller and it will be going to York with a bowl to match

Good on you, I would pop over to watch the master at work (if he would let me that is) but I have to stay in for the delivery of that Pergola I was telling you about, but you crack on, I am sure you can manage without me!
