Glad you went this direction Johnny the kit is sound and responds giving a quality pen. The top taps out easily allowing your choice of finishing there as well. Using a fountain pen myself they are comfortable and expressive your pen will make someone well pleased. Recently you have ventured into many ideas and designs this one is a winner.

Very nice pen.
Any tips on those blanks as I struggled to get one to turn, they don't like any heat.
As soon as I offer my tool it melts. and tried it at all speeds.
Sorry that sounded like me honey moon.

Garry ,
I have not encountered any heat problems with these blanks , i turn at full speed on my record cl3 and always ensure your tools are sharp.
